Peter Rowe
Director, Head of Sales UK, Ireland, Netherlands
Peter has extensive experience in the field of sales and relationship management in global equity electronic trading. Peter's previous roles as Head of UK Sales for NYSE Euronext and since 2002, Director of European Sales for the US Archipelago Stock Exchange, equip him with a deep understanding of Global electronic markets, which he will bring to Equiduct.
Prior to this, Peter enjoyed sales and relationship management roles with electronic brokers Instinet and E*Trade where he established extensive relationships with the European Buy and Sell-side. Peter started his career in the City as an European Options Broker with Prebon Yamane and Eurobrokers.
At Equiduct Trading Peter is assigned to introduce our market model to financial institutions in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.
Gilles Monat
Sales Director France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland
Gilles has worked in the European financial industry for over 14 years. Before working for Equiduct Trading, Gilles was the Managing Director of GL Trade Belgium & Luxembourg where, during 4 years, he supported the growth of the company and positioned GL Belgium as the leading supplier for Financial & Trading Software on its area providing most of the largest banks and brokers. Gilles was also responsible for launching the MiFID project for the buy- and sell side community in this region.
Previously to this role, Gilles was working at GL Trade Paris as Sales Director in charge of the development of the Front office business in France ,Switzerland and Monaco.
Prior to these management roles, he was working as a sales executive and as an technical account manager in charge of the french largest banks' trading architectures and was responsible of the Euro switch project in 1998.
Previous to GL Trade, Gilles was a Financial Controller for Euronext, where he was in charge of the financial follow up for some of Euronext´s trading and data feed business subsidiaries.
At Equiduct Trading, Gilles is tasked with introducing a new and truly MiFID compliant trading platform to the French speaking financial community.
Ralf Herklotz
Sales Director
Ralf has held leading positions in London, Paris, and New York in the course of his career, including a period with LIFFE in London. At the leading European derivative exchange, he was Managing Director for Business Development, with responsibility for the development of the electronic trading system LIFFE Connect for Equity Options and for the strategic planning of the transformation of LIFFE into an electronic exchange. In New York, he played a key role in the build-up of Broker Tec. As Chief Technology Officer at EMETRA in London, Ralf developed an electronic commodity exchange. Since 2001, he has been working as a freelance financial services consultant and has specialised in the areas Asset Management and Insurance. At Equiduct Trading Ralf takes up the challenge to introduce our market model to financial institutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Uwe Dörrié
Sales Germany and Austria
Prior to working at Börse Berlin, Uwe ran a high availability trading room within the investment banking department of Bankgesellschaft Berlin. His responsibilities ranged from acquisition, the successful implementation of projects such as Y2K and the introduction of the Euro, to operating of the trading room and 500 additional workplaces.
After joining Börse Berlin in 2005, Uwe was responsible for Information Technology until February 2008 when Equiduct Systems took over the role. Following the launch of the VBBO and prior to the launch of Equiduct Trading as an execution venue, Uwe is tasked with introducing a new and truly MiFID compliant trading platform to the German speaking financial market.
Wendy Gyngell
Sales and Marketing Manager
Wendy has worked in the financial industry for almost 25 years.
Starting her career in the City of London working for some of the world´s leading Investment Banks, Wendy gained significant experience in a number of different aspects of the financial market. Wendy subsequently worked for a number of Software Vendors where this in-depth understanding of the whole business process was invaluable.
Wendy has been able to establish long-term associations with customers and business partners in the Investment Banking and IT industries, throughout Europe, Asia and the US and expects to continue this with Equiduct Trading as part of the Sales team introducing a new and truly MiFID compliant trading platform to the market.
Petra Greif
Sales and Marketing Manager
Petra has worked in the stock exchange business for over 6 years. At Börse Berlin she was responsible for marketing and also supported the PR Department. As Product Manager for the "Open Orderbook", a unique trading information tool aimed at private investors, she was responsible for the further development of the tool as well as for marketing. Petra succeeded in integrating this tool onto several websites of financial service providers. At the rise of the Chinese equities market Petra was entrusted with market research on this area which included multiple visits to China.
At Equiduct Trading, Petra is working with both the sales and marketing teams to ensure a successful introduction for our new and truly MiFID compliant trading platform into the European financial market.
Stephanie Gopalakrisna
Marketing and Client Communication Manager
Stephanie has over 8 years experience in marketing and communication. She began in telecommunications, as communications manager for a mobile phone company, organising events for mobile operators all around Europe and West Africa. Following this, she was in charge of communications and press relations for a French insurance company.
Used to working in very dynamic sectors, Stephanie is responsible for marketing and client communication at Equiduct Trading for the French speaking region.
