Cessation of Xontro-Trading as of 30.12.2025
The operation of Xontro, the system delivering a fully regulated trading platform to German private investors will be discontinued by the technical service provider at the beginning of 2026. Börse Berlin will not provide a replacement.
In a first step Börse Berlin therefore cancelled all primary listings on the Open Market on 14 April 2025 with effect from 1 January 2026.

In the next step, on 1 October 2025, all secondary listings on the open market were cancelled with effect from 1 January 2026. Please find the relevant notices here:
Furthermore, on 1 October 2025, all admissions as trading participants were revoked with effect from 1 January 2026.
Rectification:
Bloomberg reported that the Berlin Stock Exchange will cease trading on 1 January 2026. This is only partially true. It is correct that trading on the Xontro trading system will cease on 1 January 2026.
Trading on the Equiduct trading system is not affected by this. Trading on Equiduct will continue as usual after 1 January 2026.
